2bit Punks
ORIGINAL | ON-CHAIN

An original 10k collection of Punks built on Bitcoin.

SCROLL

THE STORY

10k Punks thoughtfully inscribed on Bitcoin. Small in form, big on originality. While inspired by the legendary CryptoPunks, this is not a derivative work. 2bit Punks is purpose-built for Bitcoin: completely original, lightweight and designed to last.

Each Punk measures just 12x12 pixels and averages under 120 bytes of data - this includes the fully on-chain metadata. Restricted to a four-colour palette, they embrace radical minimalism where every pixel matters. With recursive modules and script-based rendering, each inscription is expanded into a PFP-ready image with ordinal-orange background, injected directly on-chain.

Beyond the art, 2bit Punks are structured to align with ordinal theory best practices. Using parent-child provenance, the collection establishes true on-chain genealogy. Metadata for every Punk is inscribed on-chain as well meaning there's no dependence on centralised marketplaces to define inclusion, traits or rarity.

This is not a copy-paste collection. 2bit Punks are built from the ground up, not borrowed from Ethereum. Copyright debates may rage on, but originality matters philosophically as much as legally.

BACK TO BASICS

F*ck utility, roadmaps, and promises of future value. We're returning to what matters: the purity of on-chain art.

No expectations of utility. No promises of growth. No elaborate schemes or token mechanics. Just collecting assets we enjoy and celebrating the art of collecting art.

2bit Punks exist entirely on Bitcoin. They're immutable, permanent, and complete. What you see is what you get - and that's the point.

PUNK.STRATEGY

PUNK•STRATEGY is dead.

The rune ticker punk.strategy was etched, premined and retired by 2bP.

Strategy tokens don't work and they do not add long-term value. The KOLs told you that separating fungibility and non-fungibility was a good thing. They told you this would bring liquidity into the collection, and the space more generally. It's a mirage - the liquidity is not new, it comes from existing holders that have been held hostage [again] by greed-driven 'founders'.
